Wed. 8-21-13

Here we are again.  My calves are getting better and Geri and I are planning a big ride to Jack London Square and then grab a Ferry to the City, then ride over the GG bridge to Fred's and have breakfast and take the Ferry back to Oakland, then ride home.

Geri has never been to Fred's and it's one of her birthday presents from me to her.

I noticed that after that death march up Mt. Tam that my stride has quickened. I'm walking faster and  my body seems to be craving it. It was a manifestation of the Hegelian principle of quantitative change creating quantitative change. Maybe this is my new baseline and if so I'm good with it. I think I need to diversify my exercise regime even more.

On the food trail I made some green string beans that were out of sight for dinner.

That's it.

Peace,
