Wednesday 8-14-13... Doing the Dipsea

This Sunday I'm doing the Dipsea, starting from Muir Woods, and bypassing Mill Valley all together. I'm sure purists will say this is not doing the whole Dipsea course and they're right, but even this "watered down" version of the Dipsea is not for the faint of heart.

There are places along this route that are called Insult Hill, Dynamite, Cardia and Steep Ravine.
This course will eventually take us to Stinson Beach and to lunch.

I'm taking my dog Frida who will be outfitted with her service dog vest. Of course Geri is coming.
We will have food stuffs to snack on and plenty of water.

I have a small hydrator backpack that will give me enough water to make it, and it's equipped with plastic, flash light, rope,  etc., just in case I get stuck somewhere, twist an ankle or something, I might survive.

Food Consumption;

Breakfast; cereal w/raw milk, strawberries, peach

Lunch; 2 piece of pizza

DInner; big salad, leftover chicken

Exercise; 2 miles walking, 1 hour biking
